goodwood.com WHY GOODWOOD?

Goodwood Motor Circuit opened its gates to the public in 1948 to host Britain’s first post-war motor racing meeting at a permanent venue. Since that time, the Circuit has hosted some of the most inspiring names in motor racing history – from Sir Stirling Moss and Bruce McLaren to Sir Jackie Stewart and Juan Fangio.

Your Motor Circuit event will be based out of one of our original circuit buildings, either the Jackie Stewart Pavilion or Race Control Building. Both are located on the main straight and pit lane and are furnished to a high standard, complete with dedicated Welcome and Briefing areas, separate dining areas and outdoor terraces overlooking the track. The buildings are suitable for adding a more formal business meeting element to the day, should that be required.

Within its 12,000 acres, Goodwood is home to one of the largest lowland organic farms in , a famous Battle of Britain airfield, a historic racecourse and motor circuit, two golf courses and one of the oldest cricket grounds in the country, all centred around the magnificent Regency house which is still very much lived in and used today.
