This Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wicked Cellars features the newest releases of Washington's Tildio Winery with co-owner and vineyard manager Milum Perry and winery agent Bob Schearer. Milum's wife, Katy Perry, is co-owner and winemaker at Tildio, and on Friday you'll have the very pleasurable opportunity to taste and take home some of her latest releases.

Tildio 2012 Lonesome Springs Ranch $21.99

This newly released 100% Sauvignon Blanc from “Lonesome Spring Ranch Vineyards” is lightly scented with -like petrol notes. Pungent and grassy, this Sauvignon Blanc offers a crisply focused mix of celery, green berry and spring herbs. The 2011 vintage received 87 points from Wine Enthusiast's Paul Gregutt

Tildio 2012 $26.99

This new release, 100% “Barrel Fermented” Chardonnay, is also sourced from “Lonesome Spring Ranch Vineyards” in the Yakima Valley's Rattlesnake Hills bench near Benton City.

Tildio 2009 Estate $32.99

Here is 100% Cabernet Franc sourced entirely from Tildio's own “Lake Chelan Estate Vineyards” and aged 20 months in French oak barrels. This rich red presents deep dark fruit with notes of earth, vanilla and cocoa and shows wine lovers just what the Lake Chelan AVA can produce!

Tildio 2010 $37.99

Here's another Tildio new release- 100% Malbec sourced from “Stillwater Creek Vineyards” Royal Slope of the Frenchman Hills. This superb Malbec opens with aromas of cedar, blackberry syrup and chai, followed by bold, rich flavors of boysenberries, plums and black tea. Unfortunately for most of us, only 95 cases were made, so this wine is in limited supply.

Tildio 2009 Estate $30.99

This delicious red opens with aromas of black cherry, vanilla, plum, licorice and even a mysterious and intriguing hint of teriyaki. On the palate, it offers rustic flavors of boysenberry and Bing cherry, all backed with plenty of structure behind the fruit.

This Tempranillo is it's own boss. Packed with fruit, it's spicy and bold enough to pair with highly flavored foods.

Tildio 2009 "Profundo" Bordeaux Blend $35.99

This big yet smooth Bordeaux style blend of 50% , 25% , 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Malbec is Tildio's flagship blend with fruit Sourced from sourced from the Wahluke Slope's Weinbau Vineyards and Stillwater Creek Vineyards.

Profundo (Spanish for deep or profound) is great right now, but allowing it to age five to 10 more years will reward the patient souls that wait that long with the greater depth, finesse and complexity that come with aging.
