New Brighton State Beach is a popular 93-acre campground and beach on the Marine Sanctuary in the city of Capitola. The bluff top campground and beach day-use areas center around aquatic activity. The small protected pocket beach is perfect for swimming, kayaking, sunbathing, beach walking and surf fishing. With over 100 developed campsites, hook-up sites for RVs, a visitor center/museum, campfire center and large beach parking lot for day use, New Brighton State Beach has remained a favorite destination for generations.
