Cultivar Description Latin Name ‘Ryusen’ Height: 6-8’. Ryusen Weeping is an unusual Japanese Maple with pendulous branching and Acer palmatum palmate leaves. It's a true weeper with blazing orange and red fall color. ‘Seiryu' Height: 10'-15'. An upright larger growing green-leaf dissectum that turns reddish-purple in the fall. Acer palmatum Gets 6'-8' wide. dissectum ‘Shaina' Height: 6'-8'. A sport of 'Bloodgood' with purple-red foliage. Makes a woody trunk and a nice Acer palmatum subject. ‘Skeeter’s Broom’ Height: 10’. A dwarf witches broom of Bloodgood with medium size, crimson palmate leaves. Acer palmatum Grows 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide with pure red fall color. Great color and an unusual form make this a perfect specimen. Good for bonsai or containers. ‘Viridis' Height: 6'-8'. Growth: Cascading, mound-shaped. Bright green foliage through the summer.
