What did you learn from the experience? An insight into the wonderful and rich culture of this magnificent place. The landscapes boasts a combination of both the historic, ancient and modern sights and architect that are a catchment to the eye, and a marvel to experience. It brought about an in- depth understanding and appreciation of a culture that is so rich, different, yet, like mine in so many ways.

How has it changed your immediate work output: Renewed determination? What were the highlights and also challenges of your trip: Understanding the language was a challenge, however communication was possible. One of the highlights was to meet like-minded people who share a similar artistic vision which strongly encourages cultural cooperation between the two nations.

What is your advice to colleagues planning to travel this year? Keep an open mind, be receptive and willing to learn as much as possible. Also be able to teach and engage meaningfully. Above all take it all in and enjoy!
