With the approval of a new ordi- nance, County departments will have a new tool to end the visual blight of illegal signage. The Code Enforcement Division of the Department of Community Development will start issuing citations for unapproved signs on private and public property to ensure that community standards Page 4 of health, safety, and property preservation are met. The new regulation, effective September 23rd, stems from concerns raised by residents and businesses about Couch Theater the proliferation of unsightly “Canopy” signs being a public nuisance and potential traffic hazard. “Our goal is to stop the posting of these signs once and for all,” said County Executive Bradley J. Hudson. “This will help deter blight, revitalize area and convey the message that unsightly sig- nage is not welcome here.” Because the State designated such signs as a public nuisance, Code Enforcement and the Department of Transportation have historically removed these Page 9 signs on publicly owned prop- erty with no penalty to the Baseball hero Dusty Baker (left) bestows the honor of the bobblehead on Carmichael violator. • Why Would Bruce Arians Be a Good Choice As a Coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
Why Would Bruce Arians Be A Good Choice As A Coach For The Tampa Bay Buccaneers? Starting out in 2003 as the Pittsburgh Steelers' wide receivers coach, Bruce Arians has come a long way and made quite a name for himself as one of the best. Arians left the Steelers when his contract ended; he was offensive coordinator when he left. Bruce Arians became the offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts on the 28th of January, 2012. Later that year, 1st of October 2012, he became the interim head coach, because Chuck Pagano became unfit. Arians had a huge part to play in the team's winnings and records in the years following. Arians led the Colts to a 9-3 record, which is part of one of the biggest one-season turnarounds in NFL history. The nine wins are the most by an interim head coach in NFL history. Pagano returned as head coach on December 24th 2012, with Arians returning to his old position in the team as offensive coordinator. Bruce Arians was named the 2012 AP Coach of the year making him the first head interim head coach to win the award. Arians joined the Arizona Cardinals as head coach in January 2013. Since 1925, Arians is the first coach to record at least nine wins in his first season. Cardinals were the #5 seed in the NFC in 2014. Arians became the AP Head Coach of the year again in 2015. Arians led the Cardinals to a franchise record in season wins. Looking at his past experience as coach, Bruce Arians is very capable of guiding and leading his team to victories and endless touchdowns.

Allstate Sugar Bowl Baylor Head Coach Matt Rhule December 31, 2019 COACH RHULE: Just on behalf of our entire team, I want to make sure I thank everyone associated with the Allstate Sugar Bowl. It's been a fantastic week. The New Orleans Saints have been -- have gone out of the way for us. Had a great experience there for our guys. Had a great experience here in town. And we're very grateful to be here and happy to be here. At the same time, we're very excited most importantly by the chance to play a great Georgia team. Look forward to representing our team with the way that we play to the best of our abilities. Everyone for us will play, we're excited to play, and it should be a great game. Q. Get this one out of the way early, have you been contacted by any NFL teams? And do you think it's been a distraction at all this week? COACH RHULE: I've not been contacted by anybody. But it's certainly a distraction in that our guys are answering that instead of talking about the game, which I hate. But I was talking to James Lynch yesterday. Like he said, it's part of my job. When our players play well and when they do things like they've done, going from 1-11 to the Sugar Bowl, people are going to take notice of not just me but my staff. The guys on my staff were offered Division I jobs this year, head coaching jobs, and were pretty committed to being at Baylor.
