We are so glad you chose to spend a few hours of Aaron Talley Ivy Elizabeth your holiday season with us. We hope you enjoy this show as our M holiday gift to you.

After over 15 years of theater direction, I only discovered She Loves Me about two years ago. I immediately fell in love with the story, characters and music. This musical is a treasure. It is sweet and thoughtful and simply enjoyable.

Hannah Neville, John Downes, Cristian Bustillos My hope is that you will, like I have, find this musical to be a true gem: unexpected, multifaceted, and splendid. The name She Loves Me may be unfamiliar, but you are sure to know the story. Told most recently in the 1998 blockbuster You’ve Got Mail with Meg Ryan and , this romantic comedy was first told by Miklos Laszlo in the 1930s Hungarian play, Parfumerie, and in the 1940s Hollywood films Shop Around the Corner (Jimmy Stewart & Margaret Sullivan) and In the good Old Summertime ( & ). Eric Trumbull, Timothy Burhouse, Scott Pierce

While on the surface it is simply a predictable love story, the characters and song lyrics reveal more mature, richer traits of love worth emulating: kindness, patience, self-sacrifice, and fresh starts. She Loves Me is also splendid, a true delight. The story is delightful to watch, even (and perhaps especially) because we know what to expect. It may be becoming a lost art, the enjoyment of something just for its beauty and simplicity; just for the joy Madeline Fanta, Cheryl Bolt, Carleigh Hopkins of it. So this holiday season, this is my gift to you: a chance to discover this gem of a show and all its unexpected familiarity, its lessons about the meaning of sacrificial and others-honoring love, and its simple, joyful characters, story and songs.

I’ve come to love these characters, the actors who are portraying them, and all those who have worked behind the scenes to make them look so Christie Dubnansky, Hilary Pierce, Jennifer Rodriguez believable. I give my deepest gratitude to all who have worked so tirelessly to make this production a reality. Their efforts crafted this precious treasure for you, our audience. I hope you will receive it with open hearts and pass along the joy it brings. Enjoy your evening at the theatre.
