The majestic facade conceals an unbelievable splendor of the interior: very precious furniture, sumptuous appointments and masterly craftsmanship. A special castle guide will accompany you through Neuschwanstein and explanations are provided in 16 different languages. The journey will continue to gorgeous Linderhof Palace, which also belongs to King Ludwigs II Royal Bavarian Castles. This is the only one he lived to see completed. 18a Munich / Dachau

This tour will begin with a visit of the Dachau Memorial, which was set up in March 1933 as a concentration camp for political prisoners. This camp served as a model for all later concentration camps. In its 12 years existence over 200.000 persons from all over Europe were imprisoned here. 41.500 were murdered. In April 1945 American troops liberated the survivor.

The Memorial Site on the grounds of the former concentration camp was established in 1965 on the initiative of and in accordance with the plans of the surviving prisoners who had joined together to form the Comité International de Dachau. The Bavarian state government provided financial support.

Afterwards we will continue our tour to the heart of beer, the splendid capital of Bavaria – Munich.

A Castle Eltz

B Atta Cave & Castle Greifenstein

Come with us on a day trip to visit the largest dripstone caves in our country.

Our first stop will be at the Lake Bigge, one of the largest water reservoirs in western Germany, amidst a lovely nature park.

Enjoy this beautiful landscape before you enter “Germany’s subterranean world of wonder”.

Accompanied by a guide we clamber down through the 80 m access gallery into the colorful world of artful stalactites and stalagmites. Marvel at stone curtains draping from the rock ceiling and be amazed by the largest interconnected cave system in German (6,5 km in total) visited by more than 40 million visitors from all over the world. We will continue our journey to Castle Greifenstein (built 1160), one of the oldest feudal fortresses in Germany. Discover the old prison with many medieval instruments and devices of torture, creepy catacombs and an interesting church.

Castle Greifenstein is also the home of the German Bell Museum. You will find about 50 bells showing the development of bell pouring. Climb up the stairs to the big towers and enjoy a magnificent view of Greifenstein. (Castle Grafenstein is closed on Mondays, we will visit another castle instead).

C Heidelberg & Schwetzingen

In the morning visit romantic Heidelberg on this delightful tour from Frankfurt. Known as one of the most beautiful cities in Germany, Heidelberg lies on the River Neckar and it is an everlasting favorite among international tourists.

Explore of the world famous castle (partially in ruins) with its impressing Gothic and Renaissance buildings. We show you the large courtyard, the mighty terrace and one of the largest wine barrels in the world, the “Heidelberg Tun”. Take a walk in the medieval town center and marvel at the Old Bridge, Karlstor, the Church of the Holy Spirit, House of the Knights with its precious Renaissance facade and small lanes with half-timbered houses. The city hosts the oldest university of Germany.

We continue our journey to the beautiful Palace of Schwetzingen. The precious building has once been the summer residence of the Palatinate Electors. On our guided visit of the residence we will show you the rooms and halls with their original furniture from the 18th century. Even more famous: the fantastic gardens of the Residence, laid out in the French and English style - they are without equal in Europe.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Palace Schwetzingen is currently under construction. The estimated reopening is scheduled for July 2016. We can only take bookings on request. The reopening might change again.

E Würzburg / Wertheim Village Outlet

Würzburg, the former bishop’s residence counts among the oldest and most beautiful cities of Germany. We will tour the precious Residence Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

World famous is also the magnificent staircase with the brilliant ceiling frescoes of the Venetian artist Tiepolo. The rooms and halls of the Residence display a unique baroque splendor.

On our tour through the city you will come to see the Old Bridge with its characteristic statues of the saints, and the Cathedral St. Kilian, the fourth largest Romanesque Church in Germany.

The mighty fortress Marienberg, which has been seat of the Prince Bishops for nearly 500 years hosts the Mainfränkisches Museum, one of the largest art collections in our country, including the famous sculptures of Tilman Riemenschneider.

Würzburg is well known as the center of Franconian wine and delicious Franconian cooking.

On our journey back to Frankfurt we will include an extensive shopping stop at "Wertheim Village", a famous outlet shopping area: world-leading brands with great savings.

Come with us to discover the city of hot spas and the invention of the printing press.

Our first destination is Wiesbaden, the capital of the state "Hessen" and a very famous spa with 26 hot springs. Discover the very elegant city with its precious villas, historic buildings, famous promenades and the impressive Casino. Enjoy a ride up the “Neroberg” mountain in the oldest water ballast-driven cog- and-rack railway in Germany. Be amazed by the panoramic view of the city from the top of the mountain and visit the famous Russian church, which has come to be known as the "Greek Chapel".

We will continue our journey and cross the river Rhine to Mainz, the old city with a 2000 years old heritage, dating back to the ancient Romans. Mainz is nowadays the capital of the state "Rhineland- Palatinate".

The fantastic baroque buildings remind on the times of the electors. We walk the old city center with roomy squares and crooked allies, half-timbered houses and baroque churches. We pass by the Gutenberg Museum – the inventor of the printing press. The guide will lead you to St. Stephan’s to see the fantastic blue glass windows of Marc Chagall.

Our tour of Mainz ends with a visit of the 1000 years old, mighty St. Martin’s cathedral.
