I don’t know if I’ve been changed for the better, but because I knew you, I have been changed for good! ~Wicked

The FWPA is making an exciting change! In a new initiative that replaces the program book we’ve used to raise funds in the past, we’re introducing the “Sponsor A Show” campaign. Let us put your name in lights!

The FWPA is an all-volunteer, non-profit community group dedicated to supporting and promoting performing arts in the Westwood Public Schools. This support includes awarding scholarships to WHS graduating seniors, providing access to cultural events, supplying refreshments for performers and audiences, and paying for enrichment programs, promotional signage, equipment and supplies.

Each year the FWPA raises funds through membership dues, donations, prize raffles, and sponsorship initiatives. We hope that you will consider sponsoring a performance(s) during the 2017-2018 school year. If you complete a sponsorship, your company logo will be prominently displayed at FWPA-supported music and theater performances during the school year, appear on our social media pages, and on program inserts at these events.

SUBMITTING YOUR SPONSORSHIP

Complete this form and submit together with a copy of your logo either by email to [email protected] or by mail to the address below. Logo or picture files sent by email should be in .tiff or .jpg format for better quality. Payment can be made by check, payable to “Friends of Westwood Performing Arts,” or electronically via Paypal at our website at www.westwoodperformingarts.org. Please email with any specific questions.

Thank you for supporting Westwood’s young performers!

September 2017

Dear Friends,

Like the nation as a whole, Westwood’s elder population is growing at a significant pace. Last year we saw a 15% growth in those utilizing our services and participating in our many health, wellness and educational programs.

To help us sustain a high level of programming and outreach information, the Westwood Council on Aging is hosting A Gift Basket Fundraiser which will raise needed funds for important programs at our Center.

Each themed basket has over $250 worth of goods (see attached for details on each basket) and have been donated by local businesses. Tickets are $1 each or 12 tickets for $10. We will pull the winning tickets at our Holiday Luncheon on December 12th (you do not need to be present to win).

One hundred percent of donations raised will go towards programs for our senior community. If you are interested, tickets can be purchased at the Senior Center Monday through Thursday from 8-4 and Friday 8-2.

Thanks so much for your consideration.
