Paluch named captain

Scott Paluch was named captain of the 1987-88 hockey team, according to head coach Jerry York. Paluch, a senior from Chicago, III., has lettered three years for the Fal- cons. He succeeds Todd Flichel and Iain Duncan as the BG captains. York said Paluch will fit right into the role. "I expect Scott to be a tremendous leader," York said. Last season, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound defenseman scored 51 points on 13 goals and 38 assists. For his career, Paluch has scored 108 points. This past summer, Paluch participated in the 1987 Olympic Sports Fes- tival.
