Learning is one aspect of education but the space that the learning creates within you is what knowledge is. Many saints in our history were not educated but they spread wisdom all around. It is one's state of being from where knowledge flows. Knowledge is a combination of knowing and being, learning and unlearning. I congratulate the graduating students of this year as they move to a new phase of growth outside the campus. Your score in various subjects and achievements in various fields is a witness to your performance and it has made you and our university proud. The Degree you are going to receive today is also a testimony to your hard-work, sincerity, dedication and commitment to your aim in the life. As you walk out of this campus, you carry the values, wisdom and culture you have imbibed during your stay in this prestigious university. A day to celebrate achievements and plan for the infinite possibilities ahead. A promising future beckons you as you graduate today. You will receive your degrees - a testimony to your hard work and commitment during your time on campus. You are Sri Sri University’s heart and soul. As you walk out of the big arch of our magnificent campus, you carry all the values, culture and knowledge that you imbibed Ms. Rajita Kulkarni during your studies and stay here. Your faculty, the staff, President mentors and patrons of the university have carefully and Sri Sri University painstakingly supported you to sculpt your character and your competence, to bring you to this threshold. It is now your responsibility to use this foundation as a springboard for your professional success. As a startup university, our journey of growth has been fast. The site that was a barren land with just 2 trees, boulders, rocks, quarries & thorny bushes just a few years ago, is today a bustling dynamic student campus with over a million square feet of built up infrastructure and over 40000 trees! We added many services and facilities to make your stay more comfortable. You have also contributed in small and big ways to the university. Every brick here has your memory and every bench has your mark.I am sure every experience you had, has resulted in shaping you into a strong, confident, courageous and humane individual. Sri Sri University is growing fast. It is growing strong.We are becoming thought leaders in education not just in Odisha, but the rest of the country as well. We are getting the reputation of being the University for Startups. Some of our students have started successful ventures right here on campus. We got recognitions and awards. You are a part of this growth story. We have many big plans and the coming years will see many more accolades coming our way. Offering the best of academics, infrastructure, facilities and opportunities to students will continue to be our top priority. A complete medical campus is in the plans along with many new departments and courses being launched in the coming years. New permanent and visiting faculties, mentors industry seniors and coaches are coming on board. New hostels are being added and current facilities are being expanded. I am sure that even as you get busy in your professions and your lives, you will always carry your university in your heart and cheer its successes and achievements. With each passing year, the progress and development of Sri Sri University is taking this institution forward on its march to academic excellence. Our innovative academic curriculum is constantly updated, enabling students to explore new fields of study and provide them with a much wider array of academic interest and pursuits. Today’s event marks another milestone in the short history of Sri Sri University as well as a milestone in your life. From the academic world you enter into a world full of opportunities, challenges, and yes, frustrations even, but I am confident that we have prepared you well to face all challenges and establish yourself as worthy citizens. You are our brand ambassadors to the world. You will make us all proud, I am sure. I would urge upon all of you to not only work towards your self-improvement, but to give something back to the society that has nurtured you all along. Never measure your success by your material goals, but by the knowledge and wisdom that you will continue to gain. We are indebted to the founder of this University Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar for being our mentor and guide. I am also grateful to the members of the Board of Governors (BoG), and the Academic Council for their wise counsel. I want to thank the members of the faculty and the staff for their dedication and hard work that has culminated in producing over 300 graduates receiving their degree today. I wish all the graduating students the very best and awaits news of the laurels and pride that you bring to your alma mater. 5 MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR OPERATIONS Mr. Narendra Lamba Director Operartions Sri Sri University A farmer used to win the award for ‘Best Crop’ in the region every year. When a journalist asked him for the secret behind his repeated victories, the farmer responded simply “I use the best seed available in the market and I share my seed with my neighbouring filed owners as well. Sharing my high quality seeds with neighbors is probably the only unique thing I do. If they use poor quality seed, then the weeds will grow in their fields and will come to my field and spoil the crop.” It is only wise to surround ourselves with the right people and help them in any and every appropriate way.
