Welcome, Apologies and Minutes of the last meeting Gemma and Rachel introduced themselves and the team and explained the work of the Temple Newsam Community Partnership, the Red Kite Trust and the aim of these meetings. 1

Members were then asked to draw their neighbours and to find out their names and what school they are from so that they could introduce them to the rest of the group. These portraits will be added to the TNCP website: www.tncp.co.uk

Role allocation Gemma then told the group about what roles were available including:

 Chair  Vice Chair  Secretary  Treasurer

Gemma explained that usually an election process would take place to select who took on these roles. However because we don’t have much time, we agreed that the fairest way was to pick names of those that were interested out of a bag.

 Chair: Usher (MF)  Vice Chair: Jude (CCP)  Secretary: Kyle (WK)  Treasurer: James (TNH)

Activity: TNCP & Cluster Review What is important to you in school and in your community? What do you think that we should ask local children and young people about? What support can we offer and what difference can we make locally? Gemma explained that one of the main roles of this group is to support children and young people to take part in lots of consultation opportunities (questionnaires/ surveys) and activities throughout the year. All feedback will be used to make changes in schools and in the local area.
