From April 2015 to April 2016 he worked on the Prometeo Project of the National Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (SENESCYT) Quito, Ecuador, and he was Project Manager for the research “Tourism Observatory Project for Pichincha Province, Faculty of Hospitality and Services, Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial, Quito, Ecuador. From May 2013 to May 2014 he worked as Prometeo Researcher at Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL). He was also Project Manager for the Project "Proposal of a Sustainable Tourism Model for Playas County, Guayas Province, Ecuador.

Research interests: Observatories of tourism as sustainable tourism solutions; tourism and local development; scientific research in tourism; tourist destinations; tourism products and tourism impacts.
