Tuesday November 19 BUILDING A MODERN JEWISH NATION . Breakfast at the hotel . Session with Professor Paul Liptz “ Introduction to Israeli Society” . Head to Tel Aviv's Rabin Museum which tells the story of the State of Israel through the life story of former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin . Shopping time & lunch on your own at the Crafts Market & Carmel Shuk outdoor market . Visit Old with its artist’s galleries and thousands of years of history. Meet local residents and learn about conflicts and coexistence along socio-economic, religious and ethnic seamlines in this microcosm of Israeli society. . Wednesday November 20 UP TO JERUSALEM

Visit Save A Childs Heart whose mission is to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries suffering from heart disease and who cannot get adequate medical care in their home countries. . Saying lehitraot to Tel Aviv, we’ll ascend to Jerusalem and celebrate our arrival with Shehechiyanu and the magnificent views of the city from the Haas Promenade. Begin our exploration of the Jewish love affair with Jerusalem starting with the stories of Akedat Yitzhak & David’s establishment of the city as capital of Israel 3,000 years ago. . Packed Lunch . Step back 3,000 years to the days of King David and the days of the First Temple at the latest archeological finds at the City Of David (the original Jerusalem). . Session at the hotel with Rabbi Menachem Bombeck of Israel’s Ultra Orthodox Community to learn about the challenges and changes taking place in this the fastest growing segment of Jewish and Israeli society. . Continue to the slopes of Mt. Scopus to get hands-on insight and an overview of the archeological layers of Jerusalem, participating in an archeological salvage project, sifting through earth and artifacts from archeological sites throughout the Jerusalem area. . Lunch and shopping time on your own in the Old City . Explore the restored Jewish Quarter together and examine the life of the city through the ages including the rooftops, the Cardo and the Kotel overlook. . Meet Archbishop Suheil Dawani at the Anglican Cathedral Church of St. George to learn about the Christian communities of Jerusalem. . Evening and dinner on your own in Jerusalem. Haifa is the world center of the Bahai faith. . Visit and encounter at the Mahmood Mosque with members of Haifa's Ahmadiyya Muslim community. Learn about their Islamic vision for coexistence.
