FAQs How much deposit is needed? To withdraw the property from our register whilst references are obtained, an initial deposit of £200 is required. A security deposit is payable prior to tenancy and held throughout the duration, equivalent of one and a half months rent.

What other costs are there? In addition to one month's rent in advance and the security deposit, there is a fee of £100 plus VAT being a half share of the administration costs. Referencing is £72 per person and you are responsible for the inventory clerk's check in charge.

What is an inventory? Most landlords employ the services of an independent inventory clerk to detail a list of the contents and condition of the property. This will be checked with you at the outset of the tenancy ensuring you are in agreement with the property's stated condition. At the end of the tenancy, the landlord will finance the check out of the same and you will be supplied with a corresponding report.
