Siliguri - (120 Km) • Pick up from the (IXB) and drop to the base camp - 100 Petals. Travel by coach. Rest for a while and then try the bikes in the evening for a short Day 1 ride. Get to know your machines. Conduct any adjustments required. • Evening briefing for the entire tour and introduction of team members. Basically, “Meet and Greet”. • Early night to wake up refreshed.

Gangtok- Gangtok Morning after breakfast, we will start a short sightseeing of Gangtok to our main Day 2 important local historical places and surrounding villages of Gangtok. Here the terrain will be both off road and as well as tarmac road. Evening relax at the hotel or hit the town for quick last minute purchases.

Gangtok- Dzongu (66km) Dzongu is one the most important tribal land which falls in north Sikkim. It’s a restricted place where development is yet to touch upon. Here the aboriginal tribal Day 3 people of Sikkim called the Lepcha’s live. It’s primarily reserved for this tribe. The entire place is filled with forest and the tribe normally worships nature. Very less traffic and mix of good roads and off roads. Short briefing in the evening.

Dzongu - (70 Km) After breakfast, we head towards Lachung which is known for its diversity of the flora and fauna. Lachung is a small hamlet and centuries ago was usually used as a Day 4 resting place for further journeys by the herders and travellers. Here the population is barely 500-600 people. Over-night stay at Lachung. Don’t forget to try the local drink called tongba here! Evening briefing.

Lachung – Yumgthang - Lachen (76Km) Have your breakfast and pass through the lush green valley of flowers. We will Day 5 spend good time in the valley, leave the bikes for a while and take a nice hike across the forest – the Kanchendzonga National Park, have our lunch and then proceed to Lachen. Overnight at Lachen.

Lachen - - Lachen (120 Km) This is one ride that all riders wants to do once in life time and it’s a challenging one too, given the altitude climb and the off road you have on the way. Once we reach Day 6 the lake, a quick photo session. 10-15 minutes break and then we head back to Lachen. Gurudongmar Lake is considered one of the highest lake in the world, and its one sight to be remembered for a lifetime. After this, head back to Lachen and stay overnight.

Lachen - Gangtok (130 Km) Return back to Gangtok after breakfast. Early start will help us to cover many Day 7 important points on our way back to Gangtok. We will be travelling through many small villages and try to reach Gangtok before sun down. Spend some time in clicking photos and make memories on the way.

Gangtok – Nathula - Nathang valley - Zuluk - Aritar (135km) Early morning after breakfast we will start our journey to the famous silk route of Day 8 Sikkim. We will ride over to the famous Changu Lake and cover our trail to Nathang valley. A sleepy small town, if we get good weather, be sure to get a good glimpse of the Mt.Kanchendzonga the 3rd highest peak of the world. Take photography sessions on the way and pass through the Zuluk loop and views of Mount Kanchenjunga and finally reaching Aritar.

Aritar –Gangtok (67km) Early morning ride over to the last trail of grueling off road to see the unknown Day 9 Mulkharka Lake, if lucky we will get a chance to see the reflection of mountains in the lake. Spend some time and then head back to the Aritar base for a good breakfast and drive back to Gangtok. End of the bike tour. TIMEOUT ADVENTURES Enchanting Sikkim 11-20 October 2019
