SATURDAY

8:00am-9:00am Teams arrive at Cedar Bayou, Lake . Wear your HATS t-shirts for group photo!

9:00am Backpacking review course. Review with teams: Hiking route, gear and food, distribute crew gear, safety and first aid instruction.

10:30am Start hiking! Hike on Hiking Trail to 5-Mile Camp. The hike from the parking area is approximately 3 miles.

NOON Lunch

1:00pm-6:00p Games, Water purification techniques, camp chores and day hike m

6:00pm Light the camp stoves and begin dinner.

8:00pm HATS Chat

9:00pm Camp fire, ghost stories, star gazing...

SUNDAY

8:00am Rise and shine! Team Breakfast

9:00am Games

10:00am Team break-out session and debriefing.

10:45am Pack up, police the area.

11:30am-1:00pm Hike out on Cross Timbers Trail with time to stop for lunch on the trail.

1. Take HWY 75 north to Sherman 2. Go left (West) on Hwy 82 to Whitesboro. 3. Go right (North) on Hwy 377 approximately 12 miles and look for the ‘Cedar Bayou Resort’ sign. 4. Go about a mile to the marina parking lot for secure parking.
