EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Environmental Clearance for proposed development of Residential cum Commercial Project on land bearing S. No. 38/1, 39/1 & 40/1 at Village Kausa, , Tal & Dist - Thane, , by VIRANI CONSTRUCTION COMPANY.

The proposed project is accessible by 30 m wide DP road which will be connected to the old -Pune Road at a distance of 500 m. The site is also located at about 2.5 km from Mumbra Railway Station.

The proposed residential project will have total 6 numbers of residential Buildings and 1 club house. Total tenements are 1,073 and Commercial area is 2,964 m2.

The plot area of the project is 21,770 m2, FSI area is 49,895.13 m2, Non FSI area 50,358.72 m2 and Total Built-up Area is 1,00,253.85 m2.

Water requirement during construction phase, is around 150 KLD which will be met by tanker water. During the construction phase, soak pits and septic tanks will be provided for disposal of waste water. Temporary sanitary toilets will be provided for labor force.

During operational phase, total water demand of the project is expected to be 738 KLD and same will be met by fresh water from Thane Municipal Corporation. Wastewater generated (689 KLD) will be treated in STP of 700 KLD capacity. 247 KLD and 27 KLD of treated water will be recycled for flushing and gardening respectively. About 407 KLD treated water will be discharged into the Municipal sewer lines.

About 2,742 kg/d solid waste will be generated in the project. The biodegradable waste (1,645 kg/d) will be processed in mechanical composting (EcoBiocompack) and the non-biodegradable waste generated (1,097 kg/d) will be handed over to authorized local vendor.

The total power requirement during construction phase is 200 kVA and will be met from MSEDCL and Total power requirement during operation phase is (demand load) 3.8 MW and will be met from MSEDCL.

Rooftop rainwater of building will be collected in RWH tanks of total 150 m3 capacity for harvesting after filtration.

Parking facilities for 735 nos. of four wheelers and 1,121 two wheelers are proposed to be provided.
