Shamata Gate  Gravel patching will be distributed along the entire road lengths of – Airstrip – the specific roads. Aberdare Kaheho  Gravel is purchased from the surrounding communities. D213-22.6Km  Gravel sources for all Ruma roads are outside the park. KWS/OT/RMLF/27/2020- Ruma NP  Water is available from Goyo and Malela streams. 2021  Materials are sourced from where accommodation is also available. The park has no accommodation.  Security is not required. KWS/OT/RMLF/27/2020- Wiga jnct- Ruma NP  The road is Y-shaped linking the three park gates i.e Kamato in the 2021 Magunga- east to Wiga in the west, with a northward bound segment running 2020-2021 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF ROADS

Elgon and  Three roads under one contract. Total length of the three roads is 2021 Saiwa Park – Saiwa National approximately 41km. One road (about 27km) starts from Junction Road E339, Parks C45 near Seed dryers to Chorlim gate and proceeds to Kimothon Endebbes – gate , the second road (about 8 km) long starts at junction C45 near Mt. Elgon Mowlem gate to Kiptogot KWS outpost and the third road (about (Kiptogot) 6km) starts from Junct A1 at Kipsaina to Saiwa swamp national Road E343, park. Jnct C45 –  The first road (E337) and second road (E343) can be accessed Main Gate through – Suam road approximately 10km and 27km from Kimothon Kitale town respectively. Road E337.  Sources of gravel are outside the park (subject to approval of EMP). Gravel source for E337 is at Saboti with a haulage distance approximately 35km on a hilly terrain. There are a number of borrow pits in the area which will only be used subject to EMP approval and the necessary testing required. Source of water for the works is outside the park.  KWS/OT/RMLF/30/2020- Ahmed gate –  Two roads under one contract. Total length of the two roads is 2021 Karare gate & National 27km.
