PROGRAM

Day 1 – We'll meet in Bogotá at a place previously agreed, and travel overland to where we’ll settle in the hotel. This will be an ideal site to have a briefing about our journey through the canyon. We’ll have a packing session with personal care recommen- dations (descent techniques, hydration and solar protection, among others).

Day 2 – We’ll leave in the morning after enjoying a good breakfast, and travel to our starting point known as Alto de Marta. From here we’ll hike approximately 6 kilometers in descent towards our next arrival point, the town of Jordán, located at the bottom of the canyon. Here, we’ll spend the night at the Eco-hotel

Day 3 – We’ll get up at 4:30am in order to start our hike at 6:00am, thus avoiding the high temperatures. The hike is 5 kilometers in ascent with a maximum estimated time of 4 hours, considering pauses for rest and refreshments. Once we arrive at Mesa de los Santos, we’ll have lunch and then start our journey back to Bogotá.
