3 INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT OF THE MURMANSK TRANSPORT HUB The aim : creating of the deep-sea hub - the center for transshipment of goods II stage: Design work on federal property facilities of the Murmansk Transport Hub

• The biggest vessels in history of the NSR : - Tanker "Vladimir Tikhonov," belonging to the JSC "Sovkomflot” (deadweight - 162 thousand tons), with a cargo of 120 thousand tons of gas condensate; - bulk carrier «Sanko Odyssey», owned by the Japanese company «Sanko Line», deadweight - 75 thousand tons with a cargo of 66 343 tons of iron ore concentrate, belonging to the JSC "Eurochem". The loading port is the port of Murmansk.

• Tanker «Palva» (deadweight - 74 tons) owned by the «Neste Oil», with a cargo of 59 313 tons of gas condensate, was escorted in record time: only 6.5 days with an average speed of 14 knots. (The voyage was hold in the second half of September: the most favorable time, that allowed Marine Operations Headquarter to choose a route navigation in completely open water The loading was carried out in the port of Vitino).

• Tanker «Perseverance» (deadweight 73 tons), with a cargo of petroleum products made ​​three transit voyages on the route for one Arctic navigation for the first time in the history of the NSR: 2 voyages from West to East (loading was carried out in the Vitino port) and one voyage from East to West.

8 PASSENGER INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE SEA TRANSPORT

Cruise tourism: - Passenger port area is being used now only for domestic voyages (Border and customs control is not provided) International holiday cruisers moor at the sea fishery port. - Dredging and shore protection - Main pier elongation - Reconstruction and broadening of the passenger ship terminal - Establishment of checkpoint in the passenger port area - Inclusion of Murmansk in the list of ports with permit for 72-hour stay for foreign cruise tourists

The Project will: lengthen cruise line from Kirkenes (Norway) to Murmansk increase number of entries of foreign cruise companies ( UK,USA, Germany, ) provide mooring of greater portage vessels
