WHELF Annual Report
Annual Report 2011-2012 Wales Higher Education Libraries Forum WHELF (Wales Higher Education Libraries Forum) is a collaborative group of all the university and higher education libraries in Wales, together with the National Library of Wales. It is chaired by the Librarian of the National Library of Wales and its members include Directors of Information Services and Heads of Library Services. The purpose of WHELF is to promote library and information services collaboration, to seek cost benefits for consortial services, to encourage the exchange of ideas, to provide a forum for mutual support and to help facilitate new initiatives in library and information service provision. WHELF actively promotes the work of higher education libraries in Wales and provides a focus for the development of new ideas and services.
