Welcome Parks 14-15 Newham does more than any other local borough to provide opportunities for people to get together, join in and have fun. Dance and Drama 16-17 Our summer events programme is packed with free entertainment for families and young people, including the fantastic Summer School, which provides free courses on everything from learning a language to brushing Youth Activities 18-20 up on maths skills. And once the school term ends, there are plenty of interesting things for young people to do this summer holiday, whether that’s joining a sports club, trying something new, doing a course or Volunteering 21 meeting friends at one of our local youth centres. We’re proud to say that more than 100,000 people fl ock to our summer Summer of Sport 22-48 events every year and no wonder!
