Where will it take part? z In the east of Germany in the state z The state association of Saxony is the second biggest state association of the DUB z The Region of is a centre of floorball in Germany with either woman and man teams in the national leagues. The number of clubs in the region is over ten. z The towns Grimma and where the WFC shall be arranged are strong in working with youth teams as well as in organising international events such as the 4 Nation Cup either for men or women teams. Grimma z Inhabitants: 18.089 z Surface area: 51 qkm z 22 sports clubs with 2.325 members z At Grimma different events have been organised in the past; such as soccer event for players under 19 between Germany and Ukraine z Grimma was touched hard by the floods in August 2002, when the whole of Saxony was hardly hit by the waters from river Elbe and others, like the river in Grimma. All damages caused by the waters have been eliminated meanwhile and Grimma is much more beautiful restored than it was before. WFC 2006, November 8-12 Women under 19

The Venues z GGi Muldentalhalle Grimma – The venue is a restored hall from former GDR times. It was reopened in 1999. It gives place for 400 spectators, using additional temporary galleries it will be 600 spectators. z Patheland Hall Naunhof – The venue is a new hall, opened in 2003. It gives place for 400 spectators, including a hundred standing rooms. The accommodations z Both cities offer accommodations at different fees. z At Naunhof, we have a holiday camp at very low costs, three locations at 3 star standards. z At Grimma, we have several hotels at 3 star standards. z All accommodations are in between a maximum of 20 minutes transportation distance from the tournament and practice halls.
