BehindtheScenes High Tech imaging resources College News IRC offers advanced media technology Threats prompt college to move students DEERFIELD, IL (AP) - Authorities at a Christian university near Chicago moved dozens of black and Hispanic students to a hotel for their own safety and police stepped up patrols on campus Friday after three people received threatening, racist letters. Police and school officials would not discuss the threats in detail but said two of the letters were sent on notebook paper through the campus’ internal mail system, and professors were being asked to try to identify the handwriting. The letters were addressed to specific students and arrived over the past two weeks, Cantwell said. The most recent letter, shown to campus administrators and police Thursday, threatened violence with a weapon, Bannockburn Police Chief Kevin Tracz said. The letters will be sent to a crime lab to be analyzed for DNA evidence and fingerprints, Tracz said. Aries (March 21 - April 20) Screw homework—Visit the beer gardens instead! Taurus (April 21 - May 21) While you and your friend are playing patty cake at the carnival games, your Uncle Rico is getting smashed. Think about it, and make wise choices this weekend. Gemini (May 22 - June 21) Get ready for a party week!!! Kick it off with a Thursday night drinking binge, fol- lowed by a Friday night dance party, an AWESOME Quadmania on Saturday, and ending with a feast of fried anti-hangover foods on Sunday. Cancer (June 22 - July 23) Quadmania tip #1: If you REALLY want to get lucky spill your drink on your crush's pants... Then suggest that they come back to your room to slip out of those wet clothes and into a dry martini... Fifty per- cent of the time it works EVERYTIME. Leo (July 24 - Aug. 23) The beer garden does not have a fountain flowing with beer, or even some flowers that smell like beer. But don't fret because you're going to get so trashed you won't even care.

Virgo (Aug. 24 - Sep. 23) Quadmania tip #2: Please refrain from hitting on our underage cousins this year. Thanks. Libra (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23) We see you having a FREAKIN AWESOME time at Quadmania. But graceful Libra, the stars say stay off the rock climbing wall this year... Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20) Quadmania tip #3: No rock climbing or moon bounce after you've been drinking rum all day long.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19) We see you hooking up with a celebrity at Quadmania. As many as possible. While hooking up with multiple people on the same day may usually be considered slutty, with the celebrity status here it is just practical. Pisces (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20)

Orioles on weekend winning streak yet again The Orioles have proven that last weekend’s winning streak against the Yankees was no fluke, repeating the feat in a trio of wins against Toronto over the weekend. Baltimore’s lat- est wins have kept them in the top spot in American League East standings at 12-7, push- ing the Blue Jays into the third spot with their new trio of defeats. Baltimore’s inconsistent record marks their worst season in years and the first since 1998 that they did not make the playoffs. Ravens make draft picks for 2005-06 season Baltimore made their picks for the new season last weekend, choosing among others center Jason Brown and Oklahoma players Dan Cody and Mark Clayton. Clayton, Baltimore’s pick in the first round of the draft, has been called by many scouts one of the finest wide receivers in the history of Oklahoma football. College scout newcomer Eric DeCosta made his debut at the drafting table as well, saying he and general manager Ozzie Newsome feel comfortable with their choices despite the absence of former scout Phil Savage, the man responsible for bringing the Ravens stars like Ray Lewis and Jonathan Ogden. Meanwhile, Terrapin linebacker Shawne Merriman was picked by San Diego and Maryland cornerback Domonique Foxwell was snagged by the Denver Broncos.
