Seattle Cancer Care Alliance at EvergreenHealth Welcomes Oncologist Dr. Eric Dean

SEATTLE – (Jan. 26, 2015) – Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) has hired board-certified, medical oncologist Eric Dean, M.D., who will be based at the SCCA community site EvergreenHealth in Kirkland. He is also a newly appointed faculty member of the University of School of Medicine.

Dr. Dean joins the Pacific Northwest after serving as medical oncology co-director and malignant hematology director of clinical trials at Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation in Northern California. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his residency and fellowship at University of California, San Francisco. In addition to coordinating committed and compassionate care for his patients, Dr. Dean’s research interests include examining the underlying genetic factors in cancer development and participating in clinical trials that help define optimal treatment combinations.
