BIO My name is Lindsay Green and I was born on April 8th, 2007. I am a pitcher and corner infielder for the Atlanta Vipers 07’ Olofson team. I am in 8th grade and I attend Harmony Middle School with a high school graduation year of 2025. I have been playing since I was 5 and started pitching when I was 7. Ever since then my love for the sport has grown so much. Whether it is from the family I make on the field to the life experiences I learn on the field. My journey will hopefully continue to set me on the path to fulfil my goals with hard work. My long-term goal is to someday be playing at the highest collegiate level possible for me. I am a pitcher first, but my goal is to be a triple threat by being a dominant pitcher, fielder and hitter. Without the help of my family, I would not be able to do any of this. They have supported me the whole way, as well as all my coaches that I have had over the years and my coaches now.

Please accept this letter as support for Lindsay Green, a current 7th grader at Harmony Middle School. As the school softball coach and one involved in athletics for over 20 years, I had the pleasure of coaching Lindsay during our brief “Covid- affected” season.
Lindsay is a very talented softball player, showing extreme poise on the mound and amazing control and speed. In my 10 plus years of coaching softball, I would put her in the top 3 as far as most talented softball athletes.
What amazes me is her ability to control the ball, control the batter and remain humble and confident. This is key not only in her leadership on the mound/field but her ability to be a leader all around. She has a strong field arm as well and can basically fill in on almost any area of the field.
With batting, she seems to be nothing but consistent and clutch- showing solid swings each time up. But beyond all of this, being ‘coachable’ is key and it’s easy to work with such amazing athletes when they are coachable and always striving to do better. I am just excited, despite Covid, that I will get to see her next year on our team as an 8th grader. I look forward to her leadership and I’m excited to watch her grow.
