To the Editors:

I am sick—and I'm not going to the Health center because that is precisely the cause of my sickness. The Health Center is a joke, a farce, and a disgrace. In the first place, the amount of time the doctors spend with a student is not adequate for an accurate diagnosis. A personal experience will serve as an example. I had a severe cough and a heavily congested head and chest. I was first diagnosed as having a "cough," given a couple of packets of pills and some cough syrup and told to come back in four days. Four days later I was worse, and this time the official prouncemento was "Bronchitus." New pills. New cough syrup.
