It was the RailRiders’ second walk-off win of the season and of the series. Overall, the RailRiders have won seven straight games, the longest streak of the season. June 24 @ Lehigh Valley 7:05 p.m. Syracuse touched up Deivi Garcia for three runs in the top of the first inning to take an early lead. The 18-game streak is the longest for any one player in Triple-A East this season, and August 13 PNC Field 7:05 p.m. was actually a 20-game streak dating back to the final two games of the 2019 season. Despite the hit streak ending, Amburgey has continued August 14 PNC Field 6:05 p.m. to extend his on-base streak, now at an impressive 30 consecutive games dating back to August 26, 2019. He is hitting .374/.439/.664 (40- August 15 PNC Field 1:05 p.m. for-107) in that span. The SWB franchise record for longest on-base streak belongs to Brandon Drury, who reached base in 32 straight August 24 Coca-Cola Park 7:05 p.m. games in the 2018 season. In the last 11 days, the bullpen has combined for a 1.57 ERA (7 ER/40.0 IP), while September 18 Coca-Cola Park 7:05 p.m. allowing just 23 hits, 13 walks and 47 strikeouts. The current stretch has lowered SWB’s bullpen ERA to 3.03 on the season, the seventh-best September 19 Coca-Cola Park 7:05 p.m. in all of minor league baseball, and second-best in Triple-A East (Buffalo, 2.56). RailRiders closerLuis García leads all minor leaguers with 11 saves on the season. 2019 results: Lehigh Valley, 11-7 all-time series: RailRiders Lead 114-102 COMEBACK KIDS: The RailRiders erased multi-run deficits five times en route to victory in their last 11 games. Just during the series against the Syracuse Mets, SWB won games which it trailed 5-0, 5-2 and 3-0, including winning two games in walk-off fashion. Of the RailRiders 28 wins this season, they have 16 come-from-behind victories. Five of those comebacks have come in the 7th-inning or later, and SWB has five railriders at a glance wins in its last at-bats including two walk-offs. 2021 regular season: 28-11 THREE DOZEN SIDES OF BACON: The COVID-19 pandemic has created one of the most unusual season schedules in the history of the GB: +1.5 1st, AAA East Northeast Scranton/Wilkes-Barre franchise. With the season beginning a full month later than traditional, all teams in Triple-A East will play 120-game Home: 15-6 Away: 13-5 schedules. The RailRiders, along with the rest of the Northeast Division teams, will exclusively play teams within the division. This leads to a schedule where SWB plays the rival Lehigh Valley IronPigs an unprecedented 36 times.

The left-handed-hitting Parra, 31, struggled to live up to expectations in his first year with Colorado in 2016, hitting .253 with a .671 OPS, but he rebounded in '17 with career highs in average (.309) and RBIs (71). He spent the first five-plus seasons of his 10-year career with the D-backs before brief stints with Milwaukee and Baltimore prior to his arrival in Denver. Still, the Rockies will entertain the idea of agreeing to a less expensive deal with Parra, who showed value as a pinch- hitter this season by batting .393/.433/.536 with one homer, one double and two walks in 30 plate appearances. Franchise mainstay Carlos Gonzalez and Holliday are also free agents again for the Rockies. Colorado has two starting outfield positions locked up for 2019 between Dahl and three-time All-Star Charlie Blackmon, who in April was extended through the '21 season with player options for '22 and '23.
