INTRODUCTION Types of Paper Contributions falling into the following categories will be considered for publication and should be submitted via Editorial Manager: Original high-quality research papers. Full Length Papers should be complete and authoritative accounts of work which have special significance, general interest and which are presented clearly and concisely. Preferably no more than 30 double line spaced manuscript pages, including tables and illustrations. Figures and tables can be embedded in the text and follow the first mentioned paragraph Communications. Short Communications rapidly report studies with new ideas and major academic value rather than developing a theme, and should not exceed the equivalent of 2000 words including figures and tables. Review articles. Reviews are surveys, with entire, systematic, and important information, of recent progress in important topics of current interest in the areas covered by this journal. Rather than an assemblage of detailed information or a complete literature survey, a critical selected treatment of the material is desired. Unsolved problems and possible developments should also be discussed. Authors should have published articles in the field. Review Articles are considered by the full Executive team with input as necessary. Proposals for a review article should be sent to the Editor-in-Chief or an Executive Editor. There are no specific guidelines regarding length, although it should be commensurate with the scope of the review article. Perspective articles. Short reviews of recent developments in an established or developing topical field. A critical assessment of the trend of the field rather than a summary of literatures should be offered. Please ensure that you select the appropriate article type from the list of options when making your submission. Authors contributing to special issues should ensure that they select the special issue article type from this list. Submission checklist You can use this list to carry out a final check of your submission before you send it to the journal for review. Please check the relevant section in this Guide for Authors for more details.
