Additional info

Gardener

Our gardener is Miguel, he’s at the end of his 70’s and will be coming on a regular basis to take care of the garden and water the plants. He speaks only Spanish/Valencian dialect, but can understand a few words in Dutch (koffie, which sounds the same as coffee in English). If you invite him for a drink, beware he drinks only decaffeinated coffee!

Neighbours

If you stand on the terrace, facing the pool, the house on the right is now empty, because the owner is sick. On the left side there is a somewhat younger couple living. They come once in a while in weekends to take care of their garden. August is their holiday month, so then they will be there all the time.

Dogs

In this neighbourhood there are a lot of dogs, which can bark very loud. They are seen as guards and will usually not look the way you will be expecting them to look. They are not considered pets at all and are usually behind fences and chained. Do not try to feed them or pet them!
