THE MAIN MESSAGE
As the new year takes hold, during period of contemplation, I mull over the balance between what was and what will be. Over the past year Spotlight has, many times, ‘banged the drum’ about our successful group and the myriad events ahead. It is though easy to forget though how many of our members actively assist the group and its activities. So a summary of ‘the workers’ whose invalid support are worthy of mention:
Raffle – Organiser – Enda Luff supported by 11 members/member partners
Charity Coin Collection – Organiser – Enda Luff
Almoner – Lorna Bateman
Club-night Biscuits – Brenda Hawes supported by 11 members/member partners
Event Co-Ordinator – Brian Dane. Supported by 9 Host members
Wanderers Walking Group – Leaders – Brothers Dane
And finally, Spotlight support team
Clearly, we owe all involved a great big bouquet of thanks to all the supporting organiser/hosts/helpers. If you have not already done so why not join this merry band. Alan Dane
