Commercial producers within 50km of Jingellic are invited to submit: Best 10 commercial heifers up to 12 months (weaned) and/or Best 10 commercial heifers up to 2 years old (joined) The heifers to be judged on profit parameters of: STRUCTURE, GROWTH FOR AGE, MATURITY TYPE, MARKET TARGET SUITABLITY and TEMPERAMENT The heifers to be judged “on farm” in your own environment. Interested parties are invited to accompany judges on the day of judging to view and compare entries. Open to all breeds and target market suitability. Entries required by 1 March. Judged by 15 March by independent Judges. Winners announced at the 2017 Jingellic Show on 25 March 2017. Prizes 1st $ 500 2nd $ 250 3rd $ 100 The winning herds will be videoed and presented as a display at the 2017 Jingellic Show, uploaded to our Facebook page and website www.jingellic.org.au. Riders MUST refer to the full HORSE SCHEDULE for ASC Regulations and Biosecurity requirements. All riders participating in ring events must be properly attired, including wearing of helmets complying with the current Australian Standard. From 1 January 2017, EA General Regulations, Equestrian Australia highly recommends the use of helmets that conform to Australian Standard AS/NZS 3838. All District Events— WITHIN 80km radius of Jingellic Showgrounds. Competitors will not be permitted to compete unless entry fees are paid. Stallions are eligible for ridden classes. Indemnity and Waiver Forms to be filled in before competing, available at the Secretary’s office, wristbands will be issued to competitor and must be worn. ALL RIDERS MUST SIGN A HORSE HANDLING PARTICIPANT RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & WAIVER FORM (WRIST BANDS MUST BE WORN).
