4 THE FAME GAME THE FAME GAME FINAL FAREWELL TO SOME GREATS (The official newsletter of the Football Hall of Fame) SINCE our last issue, eight Hall of Fame inductees have passed away — Lou Ricci, Alex Senjuschenko, Frank Reid, Ted Gray, Ziggy Kramer, Bob Cherry, Ron Tindall and Tom D’Orsogna. Issue 11 (Winter 2014) Lou Ricci died on June 21, 2012, two days short of his 77th birthday. He had been a familiar — and influenal — figure around WA football grounds for nearly 50 years in his capacity as president of East Fremantle Tricolore and as an administrator. Lou was instrumental in persuading many top players to sign for Tricolore in a spell when Wauhop Park was filled to capacity for srring bales, mainly against old adversary Perth Azzurri. Lou helped form Tricolore in 1953 when sll a teenager and was president of the club for 16 years. He was also instrumental in the formaon of the Soccer Federaon of WA in 1960, NOW WE ARE WEAVING A WEB being the new body's Registrar.
