Brio Program Overview

Brio The Brio Performance Company is a nine-month developmental performance company preparing young circus artists to pursue the joy and wonder of circus with greater intensity. Brio company members will have the opportunity to work with professional performers and world-class instructors to build individual and group works and to explore the limitless world of circus arts.

Candidates should have a background in movement disciplines such as dance, gymnastics, martial arts, parkour, diving, or ice skating, and a desire to bring their passion for the circus arts to the next level. Ideal Brio company members are ages 7 to 16 and interested in exploring the possibilities of circus arts; members may be looking forward towards next steps in our adult training company or circus college, or just be excited to work with a community of creative and dedicated young artists!

Core Training Program The Circus Project’s Core Training Program includes a wide variety of general and specialty classes, weekly company rehearsals, peer mentorship, team bonding opportunities, guest artist workshops, performance opportunities, exciting projects, and, of course, discounted classes, workshops and lessons! Tution: (Core) $5250

Junior Core Training Program Students age 7-10 have the option of Junior Core, an introductory program with a smaller time commitment than the traditional Core Training Program. Junior core members participate in weekly company rehearsals, plus one ground skill class and one aerial skill class. Junior members still enjoy peer mentorship, team bonding opportunities, guest artist workshops, performance opportunities, exciting projects, and, of course, discounted classes, workshops and lessons! Tution: (Junior Core) $3600

Specialty Track In addition to the Core Training requirements, Brio members may choose to add a specialty focus. The Specialty Track add-on is designed for the budding performer who has a specific apparatus they prefer to work on, or who simply wants more one-on-one training and performance preparation. This program includes a weekly private lesson, a weekly small group lesson, and an additional elective class. Tution: (Core + Specialty) $8350
