Green Bay Gamblers Heavy Metal Night with Rise Together

Green Bay, : March 7th, 2020 – RISE TOGETHER has partnered with the Green Bay Gamblers for their annual Heavy Metal Night Saturday, March 7th, at the . There will be a special performance and meet & greet with Wesley Geer (formerly of Hed P.E. & KORN), resource tables, and a ​ ​ jersey auction to benefit the programs and services of RISE TOGETHER, a 501 c3 non-profit organization.

Today, ADDICTION impacts more than 40 MILLION Americans. 90% of those who STRUGGLE with addiction start BEFORE the age of 18 and SUICIDE is the leading cause of death amongst teens.

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about mental health and addiction. All ages are welcome to join. Local support is needed. Sponsorship will help to provide tickets to local students, families, businesses, and other community members.

About RISE TOGETHER

RISE TOGETHER is on a mission to prevent addiction and promote positive mental health. This grassroots organization is based out of Appleton, Wisconsin and exists to ignite a movement of hope that is saving lives. They have a vision to raise 1 million youth voices by educating, engaging, and empowering youth to use their voice for change through seminars, student-led activities, peer wellness coaching, and ambassadorship. Since 2013, they have educated 200,000+ people by encouraging them to STAND UP ​ and SPEAK OUT on issues that they care about most – BREAKING THE SILENCE around addiction and mental health.

Since the Green Bay Gamblers inaugural season in 1994, the franchise has been one of the most successful hockey programs in North America.
