TRU THE THE ROUND UP SPORTS ISSUE Larry Rose III: From Fairfield By DEREK to Phenom GONZALES The Round Up reemerges as the independent student voice of NMSU since 1907. Volume. 118 Issue 2. Monday, August 29, 2016 1 letter from coach martin Hey Aggie fans! We are excited about this season. We have some great returning talent and a lot of things to be excited about. All-American running back Larry Rose III provides explosive excitement to our of- fense and brings an energy to the team that our fans will love. Defensively, we have a solid group of returners in Rodney Butler, Jacob Nwanwa and Terrill Hanks, who caught the pass with his an- kles at the end of the Idaho game to secure the victory for us. Following the conclusion of last season, we were excited to bring in former Boston College head coach Frank Spaziani as the defen- sive coordinator, and he has done a great job of getting the defense ready for the season. We have worked hard since the beginning of fall camp, and now we need Aggie fans to come out to the games, be loud and help cheer us on this season!
