In 2013, the Lambda Chi Alpha chapter at University joined together for a laser tag tournament to help raise money for people affected by the Boston Marathon bombings. Fundraisers are an excellent way to bring your group together.

Members of the Oregon State University chapter of the fraternity drove U-Haul trucks 2,330 miles to Henryville, in March of 2012. The truck was filled with donated items for victims that had been affected by recent tornadoes. Five other Acacia chapters from other campuses assisted the OSU brothers by providing them with lodging along the way.

Service projects can be a very powerful way to promote growth and group cohesiveness.

In the 2017 fall semester, the University of West Florida baseball team continued a tradition of visiting sick children at the Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart. These young men were also involved in other community service projects, such as volunteering with the Miracle League and volunteering at the Pensacola Marathon aid and water station.
