UTAHVALLEYWOLVERINES 10 UVU All-Time vs. ABOUT UVU ATHLETICS’ NCAA HISTORY Kentucky 0-1 Atlantic Coast Conference 0-2 Until 2003, Utah Valley University competed as a NJCAA Duke 0-1 America East Conference 2-4 athletic program. The 2003-04 season was the school’s first competing at an NCAA Division I level. In 2004-05, Idaho State 6-4 Atlantic Sun Conference 0-1 UVU played it first full Division I schedule. As a program transitioning from junior college to DI, UVU was termed UC Davis 3-3 Big East Conference 0-2 “provisional” and remained that way until 2009. UVU’S provisional status was lifted and the program became a full Eastern Oregon 1-0 Big Sky Conference 23-26 member of NCAA Division I on July 8, 2009. Until then, UVU teams and individuals were not eligible to compete in NCAA North Dakota 4-3 Big South Conference 0-2 championship events.
