The dispersal of the flock from Mill Lane Farm comes due to retirement. The 33 mule shearlings were purchased from well sourced gimmer lambs.The 2 shear ewes were also purchased as gimmer lambs whilst the 3 and 4 shear ewes are all home bred being cheviot mule with Bluefaced Leicester sires. The policy has been for lambing to commence from the end of March onwards. All are in the Heptavac system and have been regularly wormed and drenched with multivitamins.
