This database contains agency provided records dating back to the 1950’s and is available online at: (http://www.glfc.org/fishstocking/). The purpose of this report is to briefly summarize the information in the GLFC database for Lake Michigan federal lake trout stocking and stocking rates of all salmonids within state waters of Lake Michigan (Table 1). A summary of lake trout stocking locations, described by priority area in A Fisheries Management Implementation Strategy for the Rehabilitation of Lake Trout in Lake Michigan (Dexter et al. 2011), is also included (Figure 1, Table 2). Total numbers of Service stocked lake trout are shown by statistical district for the time series 1976 – 2010 in Table 3 while salmonid stocking totals for each state are described in Tables 4-7 (Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan, respectively). 2 Figure 1. Bishop*** * Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, PO Box 467, Wellington 6140, New Zealand ([email protected]) ** Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, PO Box 467, Wellington 6140, New Zealand *** Department of Conservation, PO Box 29, Te Anau 9600, New Zealand ABSTRACT: The flax weevil Anagotus fairburni (Brookes, 1932) and knobbled weevil Hadramphus stilbocarpae Kuschel, 1971 were among the first New Zealand insects to be granted legal protection. Both are large flightless species with narrow host–plant requirements. Their disjunct distributions are probably the result of predation by introduced rodents, with populations of both having apparently been extirpated by ship rats (Rattus rattus) at one documented site (Taukihepa/Big South Cape Island). Within Fiordland, flax weevils were previously known from a single small island in Breaksea Sound, and knobbled weevils had been reported from five outer islands, from Secretary Island south to Resolution Island. We report the presence of both species in Dusky Sound, and flax weevils in Chalky and Preservation Inlets, based on surveys of 134 islands in 2016 and 2017. Signs of flax weevil feeding were recorded on 56 widely scattered islands, with live or dead animals found on seven of these during the limited search time available. A single knobbled weevil was found at night on a small island in the Seal Islands, southwest of Anchor Island.

Ludwig,and I havebanded 60,000 downy young Herring Gulls (Larusarqentatus) in coloniesin LakesHuron, Michigan, and Superior.I havegrouped the coloniesaccording to geographical locationin sevenareas (See Table 1). From thesecolonies as of July1961 we have recovered 47 adults(See Tables 2, 3, and4 for eachrecovery) which were banded as chicks.All of theseadults werein full adult plumage,and I have assumedthat they were breedingin thecolonies where we found them.
