Public Transport in Vienna: There is an integrated public transport network: • Underground - 4 lines: U1, U2, U3, U4 and U6, (the reason why there is no „U5“ is a long story) ! • Tramway (old ones: red; new ones red-grey) • Bus (two sizes of buses) • S-Bahn (urban train)

Transfer Airport - City There is only one Airport in Vienna, - called Schwechat (Aiport Code: VIE). It is named after the town nearby. Yes, we could have an Airport called Wolfgang Amade- us or Sigmund Freud, like in other cities - but ... ok). www.viennairport.com The Airport is out of municipal boundaries, so the public transport ticket does not include the fare to go there!
