2013 was a strong year for Greater Mankato. With exponential growth and numerous signs of economic recovery seen throughout our marketplace, our region stood out at the state and national level.

The Greater Mankato Marketplace includes the Mankato-North Mankato Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) and the city of Le Sueur. In many cases the economic data available is limited to the Mankato-North Mankato MSA which includes all of Blue Earth and Nicollet Counties. Achievements that speak to the marketplace’s vast success in 2013 include:

Greater Mankato Growth works to raise the visibility of our regional center and its importance to the state among state leaders and centers of influence. Additionally, GMG ensures that members remain up-to-date on key public policy matters and are able to have input and impact on that policy by offering businesses the ability to be effective advocates on their own behalf as well as the opportunity to speak with a unified voice on public policy issues that allow our region to grow and thrive.
