ONE HOME GUARD GOT CONVICTION OF RIGOROUS LIFE IMPRISONMENT FOR RAPE ON A MINOR GIRL BELONGS TO SCHEDULED TRIBE .

Cr.No. 49/2021 u/Sec. 376 (2) IPC, 506 IPC, Sec. 6 r/w 5(l) of POCSO Act and Sec. 3 (2) (V) of SC/ST POA Act 1989, Amendment Act 2015 of PS Tukaramgate.

Accused : Botla Mallikarjuna s/o Botla Ramulu, Aged: 40-years, Caste: Padmashali, Home Guard G. No. 3657, City Home Guard Organization, Working at CCS.

Facts of the Case:

This is a case of criminal house trespass, wrongful confinement and sexual assault on a physically challenged minor girl of 16-years aged in contravening to the provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012; which was alleged to have been occurred prior to FIR in the limits of PS Tukaramgate and reported on 18.02.2021 at 1415 hrs. Wherein, the accused Botla Mallikarjuna s/o Botla Ramulu, aged 40-years trespassed into the premises on pretext of groceries while, the victim of aged 16-years was present alone in absence of her parents and sexually assaulted the victim knowingly that she is belonging to ST community and wrongfully confining her on two different dates approximately in the month of October, 2020 in her house and also threatened her with dire consequences to eliminate her if she disclose it to anybody, resulting which she became pregnant was carrying 5- months pregnancy as on 17.02.2021 as per diagnosis and certified by the medical officers.

Progress of Investigation:

The case was reported on 18.02.2021 at 1415 hrs and the victim was sent for medical examination wherein she was diagnosed to be pregnant. Subsequently, samples collected by the Medical officer from the aborted foetus was forwarded to FSL for DNA analysis. On due course of investigation, the investigating officer could arrest the accused on 19.02.2021 and remanded to judicial custody. On completion of preliminary investigation, the case had been charged with in sixty days i.e on 17.04.2021 pending statement of victim U/Sec. 164 Cr.PC & DNA analysis from FSL. During further course of investigation the I.O obtained DNA analysis report from FSL wherein the accused was proved to be biological father of the foetus of the victim. Accordingly, final charge sheet had been filed vide SCPC No. 137/2021, dt. 18.05.2021.

Progress of Trail:

The accused was convicted on 03.08.2021 (within five and half months on report of the crime) with:

(i) Rigorous Imprisonment of 30 years and fine of Rs. 40, 000 U/Sec 5 (c)(l) (j-ii) of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

(ii) Rigorous Life Imprisonment and fine of Rs. 5, 000 U/Sec 3(2)(v) of SC/ST POA Amendment Act, 2015.

(iii) And he is further sentenced to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment of 2 years and to pay fine of Rs. 5, 000 U/Sec 506 IPC.

Out of the whole fine amount of Rs. 50,000/-, Rs. 40,000/- shall be paid to the victim towards compensation for her mental agony.

Trail of the case was conducted by Smt. Kunchala Sunitha, Honorable I Addl. Metropolitan Sessions Judge at Hyderabad Prosecution was represented by: Sri. K. Durgaji, Public Prosecutor, I AMSJ.

Anjani Kumar IPS CP Hyderabad and Smt.Shikha Goel IPS Addl. CP. Crimes & SIT, Sri.DS.Chauhan IPS Addl.CP L&O, Sri.Avinash Mohanty IPS Jt. CP. CCS, Sri.M.Ramesh IPS Jt.CP. We are setting up traffic police stations in a modern manner. The establishment of the Traffic Automatic Signal System is giving good results. Law and Order Police and Traffic Police were organized the Bonalu festival successfully. Our She teams are also working effectively. The Mahankali Traffic Police Station constructed the building in 1272 sft(G+2).

SLEUTHS OF REIN BAZAR POLICE DETECT PSEUDO POLICE CASE In Cr.No.178/2021 U/s 419, 170, 420, 379 R/w 34 IPC INPERSONATION OF POLICE PERSONNEL

This a case of (Pseudo Police) committed by 5 accused persons on 26-07- 2021. On 28-07-2021 the A3) Syed Wasif R/o was arrested and sent to judicial custody. On 03-08-2021 apprehended four more accused persons were arrested namely

1) Syed. Ikramuddin @ Ikram Patel S/o Syed Shafiuddin, aged 24 yrs, Private job R/o Owaiai Colony, Pisalabanda, Hyderabad.

2) Mohd. Imamuddin Saif S/o Mohd. Jawaduddin aged 19 yrs, private job, R/o Rein Bazar Chaman, Yakuthpura, Hyderabad.

3) Mohd. Ayan Khan S/o Mohd. Haroon Khan aged 19 yrs, private job R/o CRIDA Road, Santhosh Nagar , Hyderabad.

4)Syed Ameer Wajid Ali @ Varga S/o Syed Rabbani R/o Talabkatta, Hyderabad.

Modus Operandi: The victim hails from Bihar State and working as cleaning boy at Dosa Tella Bandi near Water Tank, Santhosh Nagar, Hyderabad. On 26.07.2021 when the victim was going to his regular work, at about 10.50 A.M, near to Rein Bazar Chaman, Yakuthpura, the accused persons A1 to A5 came on bikes from his behind and stopped him and introduced themselves as police and asked him to show his cell phone and room and they snactched the cell phone from his hands, Later the accused persons asked the victim to show his room; due to fear he showed his room, where the accused entered into his room and took away cash from his trunk box and warned not to approach the police.

Property Seized: The Victim's Phone and Cash of Rs. 4500/- were recovered from them and also seized 1) Two Oppo Phones, 2) Yamaha FZ two wheeler, 3) Honda Activa, Br. No. TS 12 EJ 3524 which were used in the crime were also recovered from the accused persons.

Under the supervision of Sri. B. Anand, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Mirchowk Division, Hyderabad City and Sri P.Anjaneyulu, Inspector of Police, the above arrest were made by Sri. B. Veera Prasad, Addl Inspector of Police, Sri. N. Karuna Kumar, DSI along with Crime staff of Rein Bazar PS.

Today(3rd August, 2021) The Ministerial Staff Association CP Office, Hyderabad has organized a felicitation program to the Account Branch officers & Staff who has completed the PRC process of 12000 Police personnels of Hyderabad city Police, including Ministerial Staff.
