RISING 7TH GRADE SUMMER READING LIST
Your assignment is to pick 2 books of your choice to read over the summer. Below is a list of books that I think you might enjoy. Be prepared to answer questions about what you read on the first two days of school.
In addition to reading two books of your choice, everyone is required to read
Becoming (adapted for young readers). We will spend time discussing this book during the first two days of school. These are the questions to think about after reading Becoming:
1. How have you changed over the last year?
2. How would you define yourself today?
3. What would you like to become? Would it be just one thing, or do you have
a list of things you might like to do or be in life?
