This win also gave Fury FC and goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau’s their eighth clean sheet of this season. Crépeau now shares USL’s top spot in this category. • This will be fourth meeting between these two sides and Pittsburgh have the advantage with two wins and a draw in those games. • Pittsburgh have just one loss this season and they are the only USL team to manage that this season. Scouting Pittsburgh Riverhounds FC: They are unbeaten in their last five games, having won four of those. They have a stonewall defence that has conceded the least amount of goals (7) among the USL teams this season. Their goalkeeper Dan Lynd shares the top spot with Crépeau for the most shutouts this season. On the attacking front, they have Neco Brett who has scored eight goals so far. -

Despite overturning a two-goal deficit, a late Saint Louis FC goal thwarted Ottawa’s comeback Saturday’s match marks the first time that Ottawa and Tampa Bay meet in USL action. The two sides have squared off nine times in NASL action. Fury FC is 2W-5D-2L lifetime versus the Rowdies Ottawa-native Eddie Edward and Onua Obasi notched their first-ever goals in Fury colours in Saturday’s loss. Edward’s goal was Ottawa’s first-ever goal in USL play Ottawa will be without the services of Shane McEleney who received a red card late in Saturday’s match The Rowdies sit atop the Eastern Conference with six points having outscored the opposition 5-0 Striker Georgi Hristov is among the league-leaders with two goals this season. Former Fury FC defender Kyle Porter is now a member of the Tampa Bay Rowdies Scouting the Rowdies: Tampa Bay finished ninth in the NASL last year with a combined record of 9W-12D-11L. -

The ‘Caps will host former Canadian men’s national team head coach Frank Yallop and Arizona United SC on Sunday, August 21. The Blue and White will then return to Langley on Labour Day, hosting Cascadia rivals Seattle Sounders FC 2 on Monday, September 5. Both matches will kick off at 3 p.m. PT.
