(Unofficial Translation) Order of the Centre for the Administration of the Situation due to the Outbreak of the Communicable Disease Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) No. 1/2564 Re : COVID-19 Zoning Areas Categorised as Maximum COVID-19 Control Zones based on Regulations Issued under Section 9 of the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situations B.E. 2548 (2005) ------------------------------------ Pursuant to the Declaration of an Emergency Situation in all areas of the Kingdom of Thailand as from 26 March B.E. 2563 (2020) and the subsequent 8th extension of the duration of the enforcement of the Declaration of an Emergency Situation until 15 January B.E. 2564 (2021); In order to efficiently manage and prepare the prevention of a new wave of outbreak of the communicable disease Coronavirus 2019 in accordance with guidelines for the COVID-19 zoning based on Regulations issued under Section 9 of the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situations B.E. 2548 (2005), by virtue of Clause 4 (2) of the Order of the Prime Minister No. 4/2563 on the Appointment of Supervisors, Chief Officials and Competent Officials Responsible for Remedying the Emergency Situation, issued on 25 March B.E. 2563 (2020), and its amendments, the Prime Minister, in the capacity of the Director of the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration, with the advice of the Emergency Operation Center for Medical and Public Health Issues and the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration of the Ministry of Interior, hereby orders Chief Officials responsible for remedying the emergency situation and competent officials to carry out functions in accordance with the measures under the Regulations, for the COVID-19 zoning areas categorised as maximum control zones according to the list of Provinces attached to this Order. -

CURRENT SITUATION 1.1 Current flooded provinces: there are 26 recent flooded provinces: North; (Phichit, Phitsanulok, Nakhon Sawan, and Uthai Thani); Central (Chai Nat, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Lopburi, Saraburi, Suphan Buri, Nakhon Pathom, Pathumthani, Nonthaburi, Samutsakhon and Bangkok) Northeast ; (Ubon Ratchathani, Khon Kaen, Srisaket, Roi-et, Surin, Mahasarakham and Kalasin); Eastern (Chacheongsao, Nakhon Nayok and Prachinburi) The total of 147 Districts, 1,133 Sub-Districts, 8,327 Villages, 720,145 families and/or 2,125,175,152 people are affected by the flood. The total fatalities are 427 deaths and 2 missing. Paragonimus DNA was amplified from the stool sample and identified to P. heterotremus. The patient did not have any symptoms. Apparent pulmonary lesion was not found on the chest X-ray. The patient admit- ted habitual consumption of semi-cooked or roasted waterfall crabs for several years. The waterfall crabs collected from stream near the village were found negative for Paragonimus metacercariae. In northern Thailand, paragonimiasis remains as one of the public health concerns and should be ruled out for asymptomatic pulmonary patients. Huai Muang Water Treatment Plant Tak Province, Thailand 1. Background information Tak is one of the Northern provinces in Thailand. It is distanced about 500 km from Bangkok. Moei River (a tributary of the Salween River) is the main water source, which runs through 327 km. Huai Muang Water Treatment Plant (HMWTP) is owned and operated by the Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) of Thailand, a state-owned company established in 1979. This water treatment plant is one of the 233 water treatment plants under PWA. It was constructed in 2008 with the capacity of 18,000 m3/d. In 2014, HMWTP supplied 14,419 m3/d of tap water to 10,711 households in Mae Sot district of Tak province. 2. Water treatment process flow The major water treatment unit processes are presented as below (Figure 1): Raw water extraction (Moei river) → Raw water pumping → Hydraulic mixing (alum) → Flocculation (baffled channel type) → Sedimentation (rectangular, mechanical sludge collection) → Rapid sand filters → Disinfection (chlorine) → Clear Well → High lift pump building Sludge generated from sedimentation tank and backwash process is drained directly to Moei River. -

2004 Update Thailand Page - 2 Thailand HIV/AIDS estimates In 2003 and during the first quarter of 2004, UNAIDS and WHO worked closely with national governments and UNAIDS/WHO Working Group on Global research institutions to recalculate current estimates on people living with HIV/AIDS. These calculations are based on the previously published estimates for 1999 and 2001 and recent trends in HIV/AIDS surveillance in HIV/AIDS and STI Surveillance various populations. A methodology developed in collaboration with an international group of Global Surveillance of HIV/AIDS and sexually experts was used to calculate the new estimates on prevalence and incidence of HIV and AIDS deaths, as well transmitted infections (STIs) is a joint effort of as the number of children infected through mother-to-child transmission of HIV. Different approaches were WHO and UNAIDS. The UNAIDS/WHO Working Group on used to estimate HIV prevalence in countries with low-level, concentrated or generalised epidemics. The Global HIV/AIDS and STI Surveillance, initiated in November current estimates do not claim to be an exact count of infections.
