Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca (rest of the day at your leisure) Day 2: Discover Morocco’s largest city with your private guide and driver. Continue the journey to see Volubilis the ancient Roman ruins from the 3 rd century AD before a visit to Meknes the “Moroccan Versailles “ and a short drive to Fes will complied our second day. We stay in Fes for two nights. Day 3: Private guided tour of Fes. Highlights: The Medina (Souk) with its tiny alleyways and small interesting fabric, leather and spice shops on both sides, the Medersa (theological university built in 1350 – stunning architecture), the splendid fountain at Place Nejjarine, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah) with its Art Deco balconies. Without any question Fes was for us the most colourful city in Morocco. Day 4: Three hours drive from Fes to , the capital of Morocco. The city tour will include the following highlights: of the Udayas and the city walls, the (14th century) now the Archaeology Museum, Mausoleum of Mohamed V (another masterpiece of modern ), the Medina with its beautiful craftsman shops. We stay one night in Rabat. Day 5: After breakfast 6 hours and 30 min transfer to the High Atlas Mountains to the village of Imlil. Day 6: Day at your leisure. We recommend a guided donkey tour to one of the nearby Berber villages or visiting a traditional Berber market in the small towns of Asni, Talat’n Yacoun or Ouirgane. The staff at Kasbah Du Toubkal will help to organise. We stay 3 nights at Kasbah du Toubkal. Day 7: Day at your leisure. We suggest to contact the Kasbah du Toubkal for trekking programs. Day 8: Transfer from Imlil to the oasis of Skoura. On the way you will visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou (where movies such as Gladiator, Jesus of Nazareth were filmed) and Quarzazate. Skoura, a massive, dense palm grove surrounded by desert will be the place you stay for one night. Day 9: After breakfast you will be transferred back to Marrakech with short stops in Quarzazate (Atlas Film Studios – one of the biggest cinema studios in the world) or enjoy the scenery when crossing the High Atlas mountains. We stay two nights in Marrakech. Day10: private guided tour in Marrakech with lots of highlights like: The Square (Jemaa el Fna) a vibrant place and cultural epicentre and carnival of life during the night, Saadian Tombs a beautiful decorated mausoleum, the Koutoubia Minaret the landmark building, the palace of the Grand Vizier EL-Bahai, the Koranic School Medersa Ben Youssef, the Souks with its endless colourful shops and not to forget Majorelle Gardens with the intense blue colour of the facade and walls of Yves Saint Laurent’s villa. Day11: Time at your leisure till the transfer to the airport.
