1. KENDRA (12-14) Lead. Female. Caucasian. Midwestern. The girl your mother wouldn’t trust. From the home of a working alcoholic single mother. Took on the role of the missing parent (father) at a young age. Antagonizes a revolving door of abusive boyfriends her mother takes in. Maintains a strict moral compass despite an ambiguous exterior. Fancies herself a sort of Joan of Arc – prepared to do bad things if she deems them for the greater good. Envious of her friends’ childhood naivety, but doesn’t want anyone feeling sorry for her.

2. LU (12-14) Supporting. Female. Caucasian. Midwestern. Kendra’s best friend. Wealthy with too much time on her hands. Sheltered. Strong-willed, but naïve. Wants to be part of the bad kid’s crowd out of boredom, but gets out when the stakes become too high.

3. TRIP (7-11) Supporting. Male. Caucasian. Son of the man Kendra’s mother is dating. A little hell raiser. The kind of kid caught torturing animals and vandalizing property. Knows he can get anything with a sob story. LOCAL TO ATLANTA

4. JIMMY (7-11) Supporting. Male. Caucasian. Trip’s best “friend” but ultimately bullied and controlled by Trip. A sensitive boy. He and Trip have a long history together despite their young age. LOCAL TO ATLANTA

5. MARLENE (35-45) Supporting. Female. Caucasian. Midwestern. Kendra’s self-victimizing mother. World-weary, pill and alcohol addled but surprisingly even-keeled. Has never gotten what she wanted in life. Wants Kendra to learn how to survive in an unjust world.

6. TRIP’S DAD (30-45) Featured Extra. Male. Caucasian. Midwestern. Short-tempered and violent but ultimately looking for the path of least resistance. Has never felt powerful. Believes adults are owed respect. LOCAL TO ATLANTA
