PLEASE NOTE: The latest version of the below information can be viewed at http://www.wimsbios.com/aminumbers.jsp !! Dear AMI BIOS-User, We can only provide you with a BIOS-upgrade if your motherboard is made by American Megatrends as well. AMI develops a core version of the AMIBIOS for many motherboard manufacturers. All manufacturers have to adjust the BIOS to each and every motherboard they are manufacturing and they are soley responsible for the further developments like BIOS- upgrades. Therefore please refer to your motherboard manufacturer if you need to upgrade your BIOS. The AMIBIOS will show a BIOS identification string during the boot process in the lower left corner of your monitor. This BIOS-ID helps you to identify your motherboard manufacturer if he left his OEM-ID in the BIOS-ID. For a detailed descripton of how to identify your motherboard, please follow the instructions on our Website at http://www.ami.com/amibios/support/bios.strings.html Thank you very much and best regards, Your American Megatrends Team German-- Lieber AMIBIOS-Anwender, Wir können Ihnen nur dann ein AMIBIOS-upgrade anbieten, wenn auch Ihr Motherboard von American Megatrends ist.
